Each year, less than 1% of used textiles are recycled into new clothing items on a global scale, highlighting a significant gap in sustainable practices within the fashion industry. Despite this, over 20 billion pairs of shoes are produced annually, contributing to the vast amount of textiles and shoes sold worldwide, which exceeds 150 million tons.
These staggering figures underscore the urgent need for increased efforts in recycling and sustainability initiatives to mitigate the environmental impact of textile and footwear production.Through our initiative, we collect unwanted clothing and shoes, ensuring they don't end up in landfills.
These items are then meticulously sorted to determine their usability and potential for resale. By transforming used textiles and shoes into second-hand sellable goods, we not only extend the lifespan of these products but also promote sustainable consumption practices, contributing to a more circular economy and reducing the environmental impact of textile production.
